La construction et le secteur du BTP sont responsables de 40% de la consommation énergétique mondiale et de 50% de l’utilisation des matières premières. Dans ce contexte, le projet vise à promouvoir l’économie circulaire en utilisant la technologie blockchain et l’intelligence artificielle pour la traçabilité des déchets, le réemploi, la transformation et la logistique inverse. La chaire R5BC se positionne comme un moteur de changement durable et technologique en mettant en place des outils basés sur la blockchain et l’IA pour améliorer la logistique inverse dans le secteur de la construction et de la rénovation des bâtiments.
Un des objectifs clés de la chaire R5BC est de contribuer à la création de nouveaux métiers liés au contrôle, à la remise en état, à la transformation et aux tests des déchets, ainsi qu’à l’établissement de canaux de distribution spécialisés dans l’économie circulaire. L’ambition est de combler le fossé entre les besoins des industriels et les compétences académiques dans une démarche globale de réduction des déchets.
Par ailleurs, la chaire vise également à développer un outil d’Analyse du Cycle de Vie (ACV) basé sur la technologie blockchain afin de créer un label, le “GreenTrUst”, pour les bâtiments intelligents et écologiques. Cet outil permettra la mise en place d’une calculette d’émission de CO2 en temps réel basée sur l’Internet des Objets (IoT). Ainsi, la chaire R5BC se concentre sur deux axes de recherche majeurs : une étude approfondie de la logistique inverse et de ses impacts dans le secteur du BTP, ainsi que la création d’un système de labélisation intelligent (GreenTrUst) pour les bâtiments intelligents, accompagné d’une calculette d’émission de CO2 en temps réel.
Ce partenariat entre l’I2L et KRYPTOSTONE marque une avancée significative dans la promotion de pratiques durables et innovantes dans le secteur de la construction et de l’immobilier. La chaire R5BC constitue une initiative stratégique visant à transformer l’industrie en favorisant l’économie circulaire et en intégrant des technologies avancées telles que la blockchain et l’intelligence artificielle.
