Agreement signed with Sungshin Women’s University

The Collège de Paris is stepping up its development policy in Asia with the extension of its partnership with Sungshin Women’s University in South Korea, and the signing of a partnership agreement with Dr. Bo Kyung Yang, President of the institution.

Sungshin Women’s University is a private women’s university located in Seoul, South Korea. It was founded in 1936 by Dr. Sook-Chong Lee. During the 1960s and 1970s, Sungshin was already recognized as a prestigious Teachers College. Then, in the 1980s, the college was promoted to the status of a multi-purpose university. Today, it has ten colleges and five universities, with a total of about 12,000 students. In addition, the University succeeded in annexing the nursing school of a national hospital; a first in South Korea.

For the past 10 years, the Collège de Paris and Sungshin Women’s University have maintained a relationship of trust. The Ascencia Business School in Marne-la-Vallée and Grande Arche de la Défense welcomed students from Sungshin. It was therefore essential for the network to strengthen these links by signing an extension agreement.

Therefore, the content of the agreement signed on November 14, 2018 by the President of the Collège de Paris, Olivier de Lagarde, concerns the exchange of female students between all our departments
