Programmes of French excellence (training in French)
The Collège de Paris offers several programs of French excellence, in fields where French know-how is exported all over the world:
The educational project of this course aims to provide students with a real professionalization through experience in the luxury and fashion sector. It is based on a general training in marketing and a specialization in the luxury business with a dual creative and managerial approach, thanks to the partnership established with another school member of the Collège de Paris: Ecole Conte.
Students wishing to pursue their studies in this direction after the bachelor’s degree receive a privileged place in the Ms Management of luxury and fashion or Management of gastronomy and oenology offered by the Collège de Paris.
This program is operated by our member school Ascencia Business School.
Ms Luxury & Fashion Management
The Ms Management of Luxury and Fashion is the first program that complements managerial teachings through an analysis that combines creativity and stylistic reflection. Thus, students not only acquire a thorough knowledge of the sector and its trades but also a real creative know-how. Study trips to London and Milan or an internship in New York reinforce the international dimension of the curriculum.
The training prepares to obtain a Title recognized by the State at Level I: Manager of Operational Unit, Course Management of Luxury and Fashion. This course is available in sandwich courses. The program consists in four semesters for students and three semesters for professionals and alternates. It takes place at a pace compatible with the pursuit of a professional activity: two days of classes per week.
This program is operated by our school member Ecole Conte.
Ms Management of gastronomy and oenology
Compared to the traditional Food & Wine Masters, the originality of the Collège de Paris is to offer a two-pronged approach: students are trained in the marketing of wine and gastronomy, but also take courses in cooking, tasting courses and workshops that lead them to the major partner houses of the Collège de Paris. The program may be funded under an alternate contract.
This diploma in wine and gastronomy leads to different careers. It can be an interesting step in the formation of a sommelier or a wine merchant. But this vocational training is not only for cooks or oenologists, but also for all those from a business school or agronomic engineer who wish to integrate a program of excellence in wine and wine or gastronomy marketing.
This program is operated by our member school Elfe.
Ms Tourism and Hotel Management
The Collège de Paris also offers a Ms Management of Tourism and Hotel Management. The program is punctuated with highlights intended to give an essentially practical experience of the trades taught: first day of school in a Parisian palace, seminar in an innovative tourist place, study trip to Asia, America or Africa entirely organized by students, creative competitions, company visits,…
This program is operated by our Elfe member school.
For nearly 30 years, the school has been teaching French in mini-groups with a maximum of seven participants. A pair of teachers teach alternately. These small groups allow an effective pedagogy and many exchanges while preserving the need for an effort and a sustained attention.
A French method adapted to the level is provided at the beginning of the stay. Teachers, university graduates and holders of a diploma in French as a Foreign Language, are trained in the different didactic approaches and all have a great deal of experience in teaching French to an adult audience. In order to make rapid progress, they favor a communicative and interactive method and rely on many supports constantly renewed.
How is the teaching created?
Our training courses have been created with the support of the best professionals to come out of the most prestigious Parisian houses. They link-up management teaching applied to practical workshops which provide the sensory experience of the trade in gastronomy and wine.
Are the programmes available to international students?
