Rolling out the Luxury Food & Wine Masters.

Last Wednesday, at Ladurée, the Collège de Paris inaugurated the Conseil de perfectionnement (advanced training Committee) of its new programme, specialising in gastronomy and wine culture management. Many of the great houses were present or were represented on this occasion, in order to accompany and guide the training: Fauchon, Champagne Mumm & Perrier-Jouet, Cognac Martell, Le Bon Marché, Hermès, John Paul Conciergerie, Lavinia, etc.

The “Food & Wine” MS aims at training future managers in the domains of gastronomy and wine culture. It is original in two ways:

– firstly, it is aimed at both French and foreign students: Those most particularly concerned are students from emerging countries, who thanks to the advanced training, will discover the fundamentals of French art de vivre;

– secondly, it combines managerial training with tasting workshops, and culinary practice or wine culture workshops, so as to provide sensorial experience of the subjects being taught.

The professional partners now have two months in order to enrich, improve and finalise the programme before the recruiting campaign which begins next February, with start of the school year planned for October 2014.
