The President of the Collège de Paris, Olivier de Lagarde, invited everyone involved in the project of this moving for the occasion. Financial partners, professionals and journalists also joined the event, and were able to witness the cutting of the inaugural ribbon by the Mayor.
“Our arrival here is a starting point for us. The Arche is in a way the Collège de Paris, year zero. But it is at the same time the culmination of a long project. We visited this site for the first time in October 2015, just over two years before our installation. explained Olivier de Lagarde.” Today, the Collège de Paris is proud to be installed on the royal road, on the historic axis of Paris which goes from the Louvre to the Grande Arche via the Concorde, the Champs-Elysées and the Arc de Triomphe.”
Following this speech, the guests were able to enjoy a unique vernissage. On the eve of their open house days, all students from the Ecole Conte, an art, fashion and luxury school of the Collège de Paris, had exhibited their creations in the campus’s two major studios. An ephemeral exhibition that allowed to close this evening, which marks the beginning of the adventure of the Collège de Paris in this monument located in the heart of the first business district of the European Union.
